For
your safety, as well as that of your fellow divers, only equipment that
is sold at SeaVentures or another authorized dealer may be used in our
pool, for training or on any SeaVentures sponsored trips. You will be
required to provide proof of purchase and service records within the
last 12 months for your equipment. If you do not or can not provide us
with this information, then we can perform a bench test service on your
equipment to make sure that it meets safe diving standards.
We enforce this
policy for your safety. We see equipment that is incomplete,
remanufactured and sold as new, discontinued and even knock-offs. These
items were purchased from businesses or individuals that are not
authorized dealers for that equipment line. (Usually these are internet
purchases).
SeaVentures has a
vested interest in your safety. Scuba equipment is used for LIFE SUPPORT
when you are underwater. As responsible instructors and mentors, we want
to make sure that you enjoy the sport and having certified and well
maintained equipment is one of the most important factors in making that
happen.
You can rest easy
knowing that you purchased your equipment through SeaVentures because we
are not only Authorized Dealers for the equipment lines we carry, we are
also certified to do the Maintenance and Repair on the equipment. Many
of our customers live in the Atlanta area and get the added benefit of
being able to come into our store for purchases, repairs, sizing and
everything else that comes with being able to interact with us in a
brick and mortar store.
